ADVANCED BIOLOGICAL TREATMENT TECHNOLOGIE
1. Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR)
MBBR systems use free moving plastic carriers that support biofilm growth. As these carriers circulate within the reactor, they maintain continuous contact with the wastewater, enabling efficient removal of organic matter and nutrients.
Key Benefits
- Compact and easy to retrofit
- Strong resistance to hydraulic and organic shock loads
- Low maintenance with no sludge recycling requirement
- Effective for BOD reduction and nitrogen removal
MBBR is a proven, flexible solution for both municipal and industrial applications, especially where operational simplicity is essential.
2. Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR)
The Sequencing Batch Reactor is a time sequenced activated sludge process where all treatment steps occur in a single tank. Through controlled cycles of filling, aeration, settling, and decanting, SBR systems deliver high-quality effluent with excellent nutrient removal capability.
Key Benefits
- All treatment phases in one tank, reducing footprint
- Precise process control for enhanced nutrient removal
- Highly adaptable to fluctuating flows and loads
- Suitable for small to medium sized or decentralized plants
SBR technology is valued for its operational flexibility and ability to achieve stringent discharge standards with minimal mechanical complexity.
3. Integrated Fixed Film Activated Sludge (IFAS)
IFAS technology enhances conventional activated sludge systems by combining suspended growth biomass with fixed film media. The additional media surface area supports biofilm development, significantly increasing the biological treatment capacity without requiring major civil expansion.
Key Benefits
- Higher biomass concentration
- Improved solids retention time
- Enhanced nitrogen and phosphorus removal
- Ideal for upgrading existing treatment plants
IFAS is widely adopted when utilities need to boost performance or accommodate growth while minimizing footprint and capital cost.
- Advanced Oxidation Ditch (A2O)
- Primary Clarification + SBR+ Advance Fine Filtration
- Unique integrated MBBR + SBR process technology
- We also offer a sustainable integrated solution of Captive Power Generation plant with Anaerobic Digestion system for Sewage Treatment Plants.
