Dr. Anand Vashi is a Civil Engineer with a Master of Science in Sanitary Engineering from IHE Delft, The Netherlands, and a Ph.D. in Anaerobic Sewage Pre‑treatment from South Gujarat University, India. A recognised leader in water and wastewater engineering, he has spent more than 25 years advancing sustainable treatment technologies and climate‑resilient infrastructure.

As Executive Director of Enviro Control Pvt Ltd, he has helped shape one of India’s pioneering organisations in water and wastewater treatment and reuse. Over the past 47 years, the company has designed and executed more than 400 projects across the country. Dr. Vashi also leads Enviro Control UK Ltd. as Chairman and Managing Director, driving innovation, circularity, and global technology transfer between India and the United Kingdom.

Enviro Control UK represents the international operations and innovation centre of Enviro Control, a company with more than 47 years of technical excellence and over 400 completed projects. Across India and globally, the organisation treats more than 8,000 million litres of water and wastewater every day, supporting municipalities and industries with reliable, large‑scale treatment and reuse systems.
Our UK presence strengthens this global footprint. From the United Kingdom, we lead strategic partnerships, develop pilot programmes, support UK water companies, and drive international technology transfer, particularly through the UK–India trade collaboration. While we play a key role in supporting AMP8 and AMP9 priorities, our mandate is global: advancing water reuse, PFAS treatment, wastewater innovation, and sustainable infrastructure across regions worldwide.

OUR STORY
Enviro Control was founded by Dr. Nimesh Vashi, whose pioneering work established the company as one of India’s most trusted water and wastewater engineering providers. Over decades, the company expanded its capabilities across municipal and industrial treatment, membrane filtration, desalination, waste-to-energy systems, and digital optimization.
Today, under the leadership of Dr. Anand Vashi, Enviro Control combines deep design, engineering and operational experience with forward-looking innovation, integrating technologies such as AI enabled monitoring, advanced ceramic membrane filtration, solar driven decentralized desalination and wastewater reuse and recycling.
Enviro Control UK builds on this legacy with an outward facing mission: to lead global innovation, international partnerships, and technology deployment. Our upcoming Innovation Hub in the UK represents a major step in this strategy, creating a platform for co-development, pilot demonstration, and global scalability of advanced water solutions.

Enviro Control UK leads design, engineering, project delivery, and strategic development across the global water sector. Our capabilities include:
- Advanced sewage treatment using SBR, MBBR, IFAS, and unique Integrated MBBR+SBR process for Biological Nutrient Removal
Drinking water treatment including advanced membrane systems and ceramic filtration, especially, for PFAS and colour/odour removal
Tertiary treatment and municipal reuse, including some of the world’s largest advanced membrane (UF + RO) installations
