Enviro Control UK (ECUK) is the UK subsidiary of Enviro Control Pvt Ltd, a global leader in water, wastewater, reuse, membrane and PFAS treatment, and waste‑to‑energy technologies. Supported by a £32 million UK investment, ECUK is establishing a new Innovation Hub to advance circular water solutions, climate‑safe water reuse, and next‑generation treatment technologies.
Our group has delivered more than 450 large‑scale projects globally, including India’s first and largest municipal sewage reuse plants (115 MLD total capacity) and the world’s largest 160 MLD ceramic membrane water treatment plant for long‑chain PFAS removal.

Position Summary
Enviro Control UK is hiring a Junior Process Design Engineer to support our growing portfolio of water and wastewater treatment, reuse, and PFAS removal projects across the UK and internationally. This role is specifically designed for recent Bachelor of Engineering graduates (0–2 years of experience). It is an entry level position and not intended for midcareer or senior professionals. This role is ideal for early career engineers seeking hands on technical experience, international exposure, and the opportunity to grow into a future technical leader.
Key Responsibilities
Process Design & Engineering
Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs), mass balances, hydraulic profiles, and P&IDs for water and wastewater treatment systems.
Design treatment processes including primary, secondary, tertiary, sludge, and advanced treatment technologies.
Evaluate and integrate partner technologies (e.g., conventional biological processes, IFAS, SBR, MBBR, membrane systems, desalination, AI/ML platforms) into Enviro UK’s solution offerings.
Support business development through technical inputs, proposal documentation, and presentations to utilities, government bodies, and private clients.
- Evaluate and adapt Enviro Control’s existing technologies for UK, Europe and global regulatory and operational contexts.
- Conduct process modelling using tools such as BioWin, GPS-X, or similar platforms.
Project Delivery
- Support feasibility studies, concept designs, outline designs, and detailed engineering packages.
- Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and ICA teams to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Provide technical input during procurement, vendor evaluation, and equipment selection.
- Participate and support in commissioning, troubleshooting, and start‑up activities, ensuring seamless transition from design to operation.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, reinforcing Enviro UK’s reputation for quality, reliability, and long‑term value.
Regulatory & Standards Alignment
Ensure designs comply with UK water industry standards (WIMES), Ofwat expectations, EA guidelines, and local authority requirements.
Incorporate sustainability, circularity, and carbon‑reduction principles into all design work
Collaboration & Innovation
- Work closely with the UK Innovation Hub to pilot new technologies and modular solutions.
Engage with local and international universities, research partners, and supply chain collaborators.
Contribute to internal knowledge development, design templates, and best‑practice frameworks.
Qualifications & Experience (Required)
Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Process Engineering, or a closely related discipline
Recent graduate status (typically within the last 0–2 years)
Strong understanding of biological treatment, separation processes, membrane systems (desirable), and advanced treatment technologies
Proven ability to perform detailed mass balance, energy balance, and hydraulic calculations.
Familiarity with process simulation tools (e.g., BioWin, GPS-X or equivalent); digital engineering skills are an advantage.
