ABOUT ENVIRO CONTROL UK

Enviro Control UK (ECUK) is the UK subsidiary of Enviro Control Pvt Ltd, a global leader in water, wastewater, reuse, membrane and PFAS treatment, and waste‑to‑energy technologies. Supported by a £32 million UK investment, ECUK is establishing a new Innovation Hub to advance circular water solutions, climate‑safe water reuse, and next‑generation treatment technologies.

Our group has delivered more than 450 large‑scale projects globally, including India’s first and largest municipal sewage reuse plants (115 MLD total capacity) and the world’s largest 160 MLD ceramic membrane water treatment plant for long‑chain PFAS removal.

Position Summary

The Process Design Engineer will lead and deliver high‑quality process design for water and wastewater treatment and reuse projects. This role is central to integrating partner technologies, supporting business growth, and delivering technically robust solutions across UK and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development of process designs including PFDs, P&IDs, mass and energy balances, hydraulics, and control philosophies.
  • Evaluate partner technologies (biological treatment, IFAS, SBR, MBBR, membranes, desalination, digital platforms) and integrate them into system offerings.
  • Provide process input for proposals, tenders, presentations, and client engagements.
  • Feasibility studies and techno commercial assessments
  • Support pilot projects, commissioning, troubleshooting, and on‑site optimisation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and global partners.
  • Validate internal and external design documents and specifications.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and support repeat business.

  • Monitor emerging technologies and regulatory developments to ensure best‑practice design.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Delivery of accurate and high‑quality process design outputs.
  • Effective integration of global technologies into UK and international projects.

  • Strong contribution to proposal success.
  • Positive client and partner feedback.
  • Evidence of innovation and cost‑effective design approaches.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of biological treatment, separation processes, and membrane systems.
  • Ability to perform detailed process calculations.
  • Experience with tools such as BioWin is an advantage.
  • At least two years of experience in the UK water sector preferred.

  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects.
