• Dr. Anand Vashi is a Civil Engineer and received his master’s degree in environmental engineering from Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, India. He also got his Master of Science degree in Sanitary Engineering from IHE, Delft, The Netherlands. He has done Ph.D. study in “Anaerobic Sewage Pre-treatment” from South Gujarat University, India.

• He has 20+ years of vast field experience on design, detailed engineering and construction management of Water and Wastewater treatment projects based on advanced process technologies for Anaerobic Treatment, Biological Nutrient Removal and Municipal Sewage Reuse. He has also carried out several studies on assessment of sustainability of different sewage treatment technologies and research on full-scale membrane-based sewage reuse plants as well.

• He is a member of various recognized national and international water organizations and published many research papers in international conference proceedings and journals and chapter in international book as a co-author. He has been appointed as a Technical Adviser of TIFAC (Technology Information, Forecasting and Assessment Council) Centre of Relevance and Excellence in Environmental Engineering in association with Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
